Our client has a new exciting role for their company in Bracknell. They are looking for someone with a creative flare and someone with some experience in branding. This role would suit someone with a background in marketing or a graduate in graphic / product design!

Responsible for the project/process Management of own brand packaging artwork

Working onsite with a quality food retailer

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Attending Design Brief Meetings
  • Communicate with key stakeholders throughout the design to launch process
  • Scheduling, chairing, agreeing critical path and minuting of Pre-Artwork Meetings
  • Ensuring deliverables are met inline with critical path and reporting any slippage which may affect product launch dates
  • Responsibility for the delivery of accurate brief, pack copy and design files to the reprographics house
  • Ensuring the Brief to the artwork production house is clear and concise
  • Collating artwork comments in line with own brand guidelines
  • Managing budget for projects - issue initial cost estimate and final cost in line with the business expectations
  • Attending Project update meetings
  • Taking appropriate action required with regard to final packaging following printing and post launch review
  • Liaising with artwork production house, ensuring all daily activities and reports are accurately maintained
  • Updating Packaging Project Manager on work in progress on a weekly basis
  • Keeping abreast of changes in legislation and own brand guidelines for packaging and communicate as appropriate to key customers.

Key Skills and experience

  • An aptitude for project/process management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good team work ethic
  • Understanding of artwork, reprographics and/or print would be a bonus
