Role: Business Development Manager

Salary: £56,000 OTE - £25,000 basic + uncapped commission

A business, successful in the delivery of professional services across the the UK is looking for Business Development Managers to cover the UK operating from their office near Birmingham.

The company operates in niche areas of business taxation that are particularly relevant to individuals or companies that own commercial property. Already one of the market Successful professional services company are looking for experienced business develeaders in this field the company is looking to grow still further and so need proven professionals to find and develop new business in this specialised field. We do not expect to find people with specific experience in this field as we can offer full training related to our services but a successful track record in other areas of generating prospects and taking those through to becoming clients is essential. If that experience related to developing business in selling services or concepts that is of particular interest.

Candidates with an existing network of business or professional contacts (accountants/solicitors/commercial estate agents etc) and potential referrals would be especially welcome although not necessarily a must have.

The Successful Candidate will fit the following profile.

Experienced in direct sales

Able to build and nurture an introducer network with other professionals

Able to self generate prospects and close business

Experienced in working to targets and achieving them

Capable, confident and professional

Highly Literate

Comfortable with figures and presenting numerically based proposals

Happy to travel throughout the UK

A team player as well as a distinctive individual

Looking for financial reward that reflect their success

Whilst the company are committed to a proactive marketing and lead generation the successful candidate will be used to generating their own business from scratch and following it through to completion. They will also be used to nurturing clients and contacts to enhance the potential for ongoing business or referrals.

The role has a basic salary and an uncapped commission scheme that rewards achievement well above the average. Our best people are doing well over stated OTE. At this point a vehicle is not supplied but generous vehicle expenses are paid.
