Based in Staines and covering an allocated territory, you will market our exciting portfolio of digital (mobile & online) and print products to new and existing local customers. You will be responsible for selling multi-media solutions to companies via arranged business meetings. As part of our close-knit, motivated team, you’ll be responsible for developing existing territories and increasing market share.

What you’ll be doing

From large organisations to small local businesses you’ll become their marketing expert and act as an extension of their business.

With a consultative approach you will:

  • help with their planning of yearly campaign advertising, 'call to action’ campaigns or ad hoc activity
  • design bespoke campaigns built around the customer needs, present the advertising solutions, brief your creative team and follow the process through
  • be confident in your delivery of strategic & well written presentations to large customer bases
  • analyse results and provide digital statistics to customers with full client account care
  • understand the power of the digital movement
  • network effectively with prospective clients
  • educate customers on the best approach for our digital products
  • Provide a 360 marketing approach and solution from Social Media management to Facebook+ and Google advertising.
  • develop a clear understanding of their businesses, building trust and confidence
  • diary management - your time is up to you, but we’ll expect you to manage your own sales pipeline and prospects with at least 20% of your time developing new business to add to existing accounts


We’re looking for a passionate, digitally minded and driven sales professional who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the competitive environment in which the Trinity Mirror plc business operates. You’ll have a field sales background with a full driving licence. We’ll give you full product training as well as ample scope to develop your career.

We have a dedicated Sales Academy training team who work closely with our sales people to help them shape their development. Whether you want to progress into more senior positions or become a guru of digital sales, my client has a rich variety of training and self-learning resources to help you get to where you want to be. Our training courses are accredited by the Byrne Partnership, who established the 'Media Sales Qualification’ for publishers, in association with the Newspaper Society in 2001. We have a structured development programme for new starters joining our commercial teams which includes formal training, coaching and mentoring to really help you get off to a flying start.
