The Client:

Our client are leading construction firm in the UK, and they are looking for a Health, Safety and Sustainability Advisor for their projects based in West Yorkshire. The projects will be primarily in the HOUSING/CONSTRUCTION sector

Role Overview:

As part of our clients' ongoing commitment to ensuring industry leading standards of health, safety and environment, they are presently looking for a Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor to cover the Yorkshire region. The location of the role is typically site-based and would therefore require reasonable travel to accommodate sites in the West Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities:

*Advise sites on Project-specific health, safety and environment issues.
*Actively identify areas for improvement and contribute to plans aimed at reducing the occurrence of incidents.
*Ensure that site teams are proactive, up to date and comply with current health, safety and environmental legislation, best practice and Company standards.
*Assist with the investigation of incidents to establish the root cause and preventative measures.
*Undertake monitoring of the health, safety and the environment processes.
*Ensure site based management are focused on delivering a safe and healthy working environment.
*Support the Business Unite and Operation Management teams in all aspects of health, safety and the environment performance and management.


* NEBOSH General/Construction certificate
* CSCS Card
* Housing/New build/Construction
* Full UK Driving Licence
