Reservations Manager

The Opportunity

A Guest services company are looking for a Reservations Manager based in Cardiff to join their expanding team. If you have experience of running a busy reception desk, reservations team then this would be the role for you. They are looking to pay up to £22,000 for the right candidate and as this is a vital role for their business they are looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

The Role

  • You will be customer focused supporting the strategies to grow the business through proactive selling and effective customer interaction
  • You will handle all corporate and private reservations as well as handling customer enquiries
  • Manage the daily arrivals whilst liaising with the Guest Services and Housekeeping teams
  • Be the first point of contact for all complaints and providing effective communication with the reservations team whilst managing the reservations coordinator
  • Support and manage the inbox facility with bookings and log all enquiries to ensure that a follow up is made
  • Suggest and implement ways to improve customer satisfaction throughout the company whilst monitoring feedback
  • Reporting on weekly/ monthly and yearly trends and reporting back to senior management

Skills / Experience

  • Experience within a reservations team as team leader/ manager
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is desirable
  • 40 hours week however due to the industry flexible with working hours must be adhered to
