The Role - Year 6 Teacher

Our client are looking for an outstanding qualified teacher to join their team Easter Term. Ideally you will be an inspirational teacher who can make an impact on the outcomes of pupils learning and development. The school is prepared to tailor the position to ensure the right candidate will hit the ground running in their role. However candidates will only be considered if they are confident in delivering lessons to key stage 2 children who are fast approaching their Year 6 SATs. You should be able to confidently teach a class of pupils and ensure that planning, preparation, recording assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs. You will also be expected to maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom. Applicants should be able to contribute to constructive team-building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors. In order to be shortlisted you must have a QTS and solid experience of teaching in the relevant phase, however experience in other key stages will be considered. The school would like to take on board an experienced teacher who is full of energy but also someone who is keen to grow and develop with the school as they offer ongoing professional development, career progression opportunities and optional teaching and learning responsibilities.
