Technical Claims Handler (Property and Motor)
20-25k (Depending on experience)
Our client is leading organisation that provides a national disaster recovery and building repair services.
They are currently recruiting for Technical Claims Handlers to join a busy and growing team following recent growth.
Within the role you will be responsible for the following:
Manage incoming claims boxes, helping to co-ordinate works from start the finish: FNOL through to agreeing PC Sums and final accounts.
Manage technical building queries.
Manage all contractor surveys, subsequent authorisations and any related queries.
Audit files in preparation of insurer audits.
Deliver high class customer service to all customers: Insurers, policyholders and Brokers.
Ensure all reports and communication is of a high standard, detailed, concise and relevant to the clients needs.
To use relevant communication methods suited to the target audience.
Update daily activity on Claims Management System.
Ensure all VO related changes are recorded in Metrix.
Ensure all contractor costs and changes are recorded.
Ensure where possible telephone communication is used and recorded to agree next steps with client and avoid further process delays.
Ensure regular communication on site, if possible using our mobile technology software, getting the right information as quickly as possible, helping to determine what, how, when and how to send to site.
Manage complaints and resolution working together with Operations Manager and local surveyors
You must have Property or Motor Claims experience.
