System Administrator / SysAdmin
As a System Administrator you will support the development, deployment and administration of the company's internal and external Network Management systems. As a Sys Admin you will work on ongoing projects and work very closely with the core engineering team who are responsible for the Exponential-e network infrastructure.

Some of your responsibilities as a SysAdmin will include but are not restricted to:·Proactive development of NMS systems (Network Management System) to support existing and new networks and services.·Automate all Systems Maintenance tasks.·Architecture, design and planning for the existing and new Network Systems infrastructure. ·Design, testing and validation of maintenance patches.·Daily administration of NMS (Network Management System) and supporting applications. ·Production of implementation and technical service documentation for use by support teams.

Competencies required for this role include and are not restricted to:Administrator level Unix/Linux skills in production environments.Understanding of large scale Network Management solutions. Intermediate understanding of SNMP, MIBS, Traps and network management principles. Programming (Perl, Shell bash, ksh, sh). WAN and LAN technologies, TCP/IP, OSI Model. (Juniper, Cisco, Adva, Alcatel-Lucent ESS/SR/SAS product range).Operating Systems (Sun Solaris, Redhat, Linux/Unix, Windows, VMware) Free RADIUS experience (adding and editing)Full understanding of DNS, Mail Transfer Agents, Radius, NTP.
