Commercial Manager - CMO

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join a thriving pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation at their office in Watford. Are you a results driven professional with the ability to lead a sales account management team in the successful delivery of a strategic plan? If so, then you may be the Commercial Manager that we've been looking for.

What will you be doing?

As Commercial Manager, you will demonstrate keen initiative when driving forward strategic sales growth through a deep understanding of the market and customer base. You'll be working in UK, worldwide pharmaceutical, medical device and cosmetic classified product industries.

Your excellent leadership skills will be demonstrated when motivating, challenging and supporting the sales team through an exciting period of growth, with a view to create a high achieving, award winning team. It will be your responsibility to recruit, manage and develop the Pharmaceutical Sales Account Management team. You will manage specific sales accounts, driving sales, growth and probability and will conduct effective customer and supplier reviews on a regular basis, ensuring KPI's are met. Further to this, you will regularly review and carry out research into current customers, potential customers, competitors, market activities and new initiatives.

Who should you be?

* A professional with a minimum of 4 years' working in a pharmaceutical/medical device commercial environment, preferably with a degree of line management experience
* An individual with experience of sales budgets, forecasting, tracking and analysis, competitor intelligence, influence of range and distribution, rebates/accrual, pharmaceutical
* A strategic thinker with the ability to produce effective reports that will be distributed both internally and externally
* Ideally, a candidate with a Bachelors' degree in a business, marketing or chemistry discipline
