A highly customer-focused System Developer role with IPF, the leading international provider of Home Credit.

9-month fixed-term contract initially

We operate in emerging markets where demand for credit is growing and markets are relatively underserved.As a System Developer reporting to our Compliance and Loss Prevention Systems Manager, you’ll be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of compliance and loss prevention systems, to enable the effective and efficient operation of the loss prevention function across the group. Helping to provide new technologies and systems, following best practice and industry standards, the System Developer will also provide technical advice for new compliance and loss prevention initiatives and projects, in addition to: • delivering a customer-focused service to the extended Compliance and Loss Prevention team• providing support and training to team members in the use of the systems to ensure their effective use• ensuring awareness of wider group IT systems developments• providing communication to key stakeholders about system improvement initiatives to increase collaboration and build working relationships.With a degree in Computing/Software Development, you have a proven track record in a development role, ideally within financial services. A qualification in compliance or loss prevention would also be ideal but a passion for/interest in is a definite must! Your development experience should include:• C# MVC3• VB / Access • MS SQL server databases • SSIS - integration for data transfer • SSRS - reporting • MS Office -primarily Excel, Outlook and Visio.Comfortable working under pressure within a fast-paced environment and able to grasp complex issues, you have an innovative approach to problem-solving, underpinned by strong all-round communication (in English) interpersonal and teamwork. With robust analytical skills, you’re also:• an effective organiser, able to meet time-sensitive deadlines• able to work on your own initiative within a dedicated team• willing and able to travel overseas.System Developer Job Reference Number: OLR12540
