Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator

An Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator is needed to join a fast growing tech start up that is revolutionising the transport industry. Working from their office in Holborn, expect a diverse and rewarding role that will see you provide essential office admin support, basic finance, diary management and an opportunity to assist with strategic research & business development planning.

Creating cameras with on-board video analytics capabilities, this ground-breaking firm gather real-time information to quantify the movement of pedestrians, vehicles and cyclists, from making traffic lights more intelligent to assisting rail operators in predicting queues in their rail stations. They are now seeking an Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator to play a key role in helping them grow, from 10 to 20+ employees, in preparation for rolling out thousands of cameras across the UK.

Working closely with the CEO and the COO the Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator will play a vital role in supporting essential business operations. Whether you are administering accounts (payroll, reconciliation and invoices); arranging appointments and meetings; proofing, formatting and publishing documents; arranging travel details, or supporting the technical team in gathering and validating data, it will be your ability to take the initiative and get the job done that ensures the smooth running of this innovative start up.

To qualify. You should be an Administrative Assistant / Office Administrator / Personal Assistant / Finance Administrator or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • A grade B or higher in GCSE Maths (or any higher Mathematics based qualification);
  • A grade B or higher in GCSE English Language (or equivalent);
  • A drive for precision and accuracy in work;
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • An interest in business operations;
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: working in a commercial environment, maintaining management accounts, further education or the ability to learn new skills quickly.
