Social Media Executive
An exciting opportunity is now available for a Social Media Executive to join a very reputable and well known PR Company whose successes have included working with the UK Government as well as several famous application companies.
In this position, your daily tasks will include:
- Scheduling social media postings on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for clients
- Writing blog posts
- Identifying interesting stories trending on social media and using these to raise clients’ profiles
- Monitoring client social media profiles, following new accounts and maintaining growth in social media
So, what experience is needed to join this successful team?
- Knowledge and interest in social media
- Ability to write interesting copy - experience in and enthusiasm towards writing
- Outstanding interpersonal skills - great verbal and written communications
- Motivated: ability to work hard, identify opportunities and take the initiative
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity once established in the role to take on more PR responsibilities and tasks.
The consultancy has excellent media relationships, particularly with publications such as the national newspapers, the BBC, Sky and other high profile media. Therefore, in addition to the above, Candidates need to be comfortable speaking on the telephone with media publications, creating a rapport between themselves and the publications and building relationships with media executives.
Previous experience in a PR consultancy will be considered but relevant transferable skills and ambition to succeed are the key criteria.
In return for your skills you will receive an annual salary of £18,000 - £20,000, a fantastic bonus scheme based on company and individual performance, continued support and mentoring and much more.
