Senior Finance Business Partner (12 month FTC) London: up to £65,000 + benefits

For a global, commercial organisation with headquarters in London, we're recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to be the main point of contact for SMT, Business Delivery, and Corporate Finance for all commercial and financial queries relating to the directorate. The Senior Finance Business Partner will lead a team to ensure all finance related activities are delivered with a strong emphasis on business partnering. This role will manage up to 7 staff.

Main Duties:

  • Help the company deliver a new economic model focusing on surplus, quality, partnership and impact
  • Provide comprehensive financial information and operational information to stakeholders
  • Support the winning of new business by working closely with the costing and pricing function to ensure accurate pricing at acceptable commercial terms
  • Produce robust financial plans that deliver financial and operating targets to timetable
  • Deliver financial strategy and operating plans for finance delivery underpinning how team members can contribute with business partnering
  • Partner with key stakeholders, Directors and Managers to provide insightful financial information and analysis of trends
  • Lead, develop and evaluate staff
  • Negotiate, contract and manage services ensuring value for money
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance as necessary
  • Risk Management and Compliance Monitoring

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Accountant or QBE with substantial commercial business partnering
  • Excellent commercial awareness and experience of working in a lead commercial role
  • Proven staff management and development experience
  • SAP experience
  • Substantial experience with the delivery of financial planning and analysis
  • Experience with the provision of strategic insight
  • Experience of working successfully in a fluid, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven business partnering skills
  • Experience of working in an international and multi-cultural global organisation
  • Experience with implementing change programs
  • Benchmarking and Contract Management
