Corporate Sales Manager – Engineered Business Solutions

Salary and Benefits
Basic £42k - £47k Basic doe, OTE £75k-£80k OTE uncapped, potential OTE guarantees, Company Car, Pension, Healthcare, and Business Equipment.

National remit with candidates ideally based near to either Leicester, Leeds, Warrington or Slough, central locations preferred with excellent motorway access.

We are working in partnership with the worlds’ leading provider of fork lifts and warehouse equipment. Their brand is synonymous with innovation, quality and durability, along with a very customer centric approach at all stages of the customer relationship life-cycle. Solutions encompass a varied array of specialist new trucks, rentals, service and finance options.

The Role
The role of Corporate Sales Manager will see you manage a portfolio of agreed Corporate level accounts, most of which will be current customers and you will be tasked with servicing, defending, increasing share of wallet and ensuring target margins are achieved. You will also be required to engage and open conversations with new National account level prospects. Typical end user customers encompass all major UK manufacturers, 3PL, and grocery retail to name but a few.

It is envisaged that the split of existing and new business focus will be 80/20. To perform the above duties effectively, you will have a strategic approach, and be analytical by nature. This is a home-based role but you are expected to attend regional offices for meetings and of course be out in the field across the UK meeting customers.

The Desired Candidate
We are looking for a proactive, graduate calibre, true solution sales professional, that has the credibility, gravitas and demonstrable experience of operating successfully at National Account, Enterprise, Corporate Sales level. You will be an astute senior sales professional that is accustomed to working in partnership with a suite of key decision makers which are likely to involve Financial Director, Operations Director, Purchasing Director, Logistics Director and even Managing Director.

We are open to the sector experience that you have, as your commercial acumen and strategic approach of managing corporate level accounts is the most important factor. It must however be noted that you will be selling a solution that centers on engineered capital equipment and you must feel comfortable in positioning this type of solution. If you happen to have worked within material handling solutions or within warehouse equipment, automotive, mechanical engineered equipment, pallet pooling, conveyors, racking and shelving then this might well be a familiar sales process.
