About the Role of Science Teacher – SEBD and SEMH School
Your Science Teacher duties will include benefitting from joining a faculty with great camaraderie who you can count on to help you out. The school invests highly in staff and can offer a 'Outstanding' teacher as a mentor as part of this role. You will be teaching as part of a successful Science Department. You will move into an important role within the department responsible for GCSE teaching and learning. An experienced TA will be on hand in your lessons to help you with any challenging children or to give you a hand with preparation or assessments.

Person Specification for Science Teacher – SEBD and SEMH School
The Headteacher wants to recruit a Science Teacher with a calm but firm teaching style and a calm approach to teaching in a busy SEN school where them can expect some challenges. As a Science Teacher, you must have an empathetic character that positively affects your pupils as they benefit from learning to care for and understand others. For this post, you should be a dedicated Science Teacher who has worked in an environment with a high number of SEN or SEBD pupils previously and 1 year of solid teaching experience. This post requires a Science Teacher who has the skills to take their teaching to the next level by employing a proactive attitude that ensures them are prepared for every eventuality.
