Clerk of Works - Social Housing Refurbishment and Planned Maintenance
This Social Housing provider require a Clerk of Works for major works planned maintenance and refurbishment of a mixed portfolio of residential property mainly based in south east London.
The successful candidate will work closely with surveyors managing projects to ensure that their planned maintenance schemes are delivered safely and to a high standard of workmanship.
Site inspections prior to work commencing and at key stages throughout construction and at completion.
Make recommendations about any aspect of the works which do not conform to plans, specifications or schedules and to keep a constant review of documentation ensuring that works are satisfactory and kept to the projects agreed costs.
Ensure that all current health & safety legislation, codes of practice and building regulations are observed at all times by the contractor whilst on site.
Monitor the delivery and quality of work carried out, in order to maximise customer experience and satisfaction.
Carry out a wide range of site inspector duties for project work across our varied portfolio of property assets.
Projects Include such as decorations to external and communal areas, fire upgrading work, window replacement, re-roofing, electrical work, extensions, structural repairs and full property refurbishments/reconfiguration, generally full residential refurbishment maintenance and renewal.
