Director, Institutional Sales - Global Asset Manager
Global Asset Manager seeks an intellectual and highly credible salesperson to focus on primarily FX hedging solutions for institutional clients (primarily corporate/LA pension funds). Responsibilities: - Develop new whilst managing existing relationships with prospects/clients across the UK, Central Europe and the US; - Research, prospect and reach out potential Institutional investors within the target markets; - Gain an in-depth knowledge of products/funds by working with the investment teams; - Meet with and sell institutional solutions to clients such as pension funds; - Educate prospects and clients on institutional solutions via calls and meetings, following up with investment information and marketing material; - Drive sales activity into new markets. The individual Essential: - 6+ years sales experience within an Investment Bank, Asset Manager or Investment Consultant; - Excellent product knowledge and experience selling solutions in FX, Absolute Return Products or Rates/Fixed Income; - Engaging personality that lends itself well to business development and client relationship management; - Ability to prospect and build new relationships with institutional clients; - Confident discussing bespoke solutions with institutional prospects and clients via calls and meetings; Desirable: - Ideally a CFA holder (or completed level 1 or 2); - Understanding or experience with institutional clients and/or investment consultants desirable. Previous experience selling FX hedging also desirable. - European language such as Swiss-German, French, German etc. The successful individual will be rewarded with a competitive basic salary plus bonus/profit share scheme and excellent benefits.
