As an Insight Analyst at ICLP, you will be working within our successful data team to support these clients and their commercial growth.
Purpose of the Job
The Insight Analyst will be working across a number of clients and will be a data analytics expert supporting the function by delivering outstanding ‘best in class’ data deliverables – including the use of new methods, techniques and tools.
The role will primarily be focused on analysis of the data sets rather than their construction and as such, candidates should not only be data experts but be commercially savvy too.
Key daily responsibilities;Performing data analytics on large volumes of customer data including post campaign analysis, reporting, segmentation and modelingLeading and being a data expert for clients or analytics projects Feeding insights, analysis and recommendations into planning discussionsGathering business requirements and translating into reporting and analysisFollowing QC procedures where appropriate ensuring consistency of analytical outputIdentifying opportunities for data analytics, adding value as needed to deliverablesGive confidence to Client and Internal Teams of your expertise in Data and AnalyticsEnsure account teams and clients are measuring campaign performance correctly and support proper explanation of resultsInterrogate data sources to deliver answersDocument and present analytics undertaken in a way which can be understood by those who are technical and non-technicalWork with client stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and analytical solutionsTake full ownership of insight projects end-to-endChallenge solutions and approaches to evolve capabilities and meet changing business requirementsHelp to ensure analytics rigor in all areas of analyticsEnsure a wide knowledge and proactively identify new data and analytics tools and ability to identify best fit for potential new clients.·Support junior analysts offering experience and expertise to help their development
Knowledge·Knowledge of common data analysis techniques including;oResponse analysis, campaign evaluationoCHAID analysis, profiling and segmentationoDevelopment of Cross Sell, propensity and retention modelsoStatistical analysis – marketingoMultivariate analysis techniques e.g. regression, cluster, etcoSound understanding of basic statistics and ability to explain terms to non-technical marketers·Ability to present insights in a clear, imaginative way so recipients can make right marketing and business decisions ·Identify business opportunities through the analysis of data·Understand and address client issues using relevant data analysis·Ability to connect ideas and do things differently, be inquisitive.
