This is an opportunity to join Water Plus, an exciting new joint venture organisation in Stoke on Trent. United Utilities and Severn Trent are joining forces to set innovative standards for the water industry. You will be working in their brand new office, which is based in Hanley with excellent transport links and on-site parking.
You will be the first point of contact between Water Plus and potential new customers where you will obtain qualifying information such as the customer's current water provider and current expenditure, and then generates interest in the Water Plus offering. You will be responsible for follow up with customers and for closing the sale.
To be successful in this role you will need to be confident in ability to make sales on a daily basis, delivers sales with a customer first mindset, building customer relationships to retain, develop and grow the business in the long term. You will work with colleagues to spot opportunities and will challenge processes and practices for continuous improvement with the customer at the heart of decision making. Strong decision making within agreed approval limits to include negotiation and discount limits will also be essential to success in this role.
