Unity Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team within a leading Learning Disability provider in Hayton, Nottinghamshire.

The successful candidate will be supporting the Registered Manager across two homes on the same site.

Run by an award-wining provider, the homes cater for up to 16 young adults with Learning Difficulties. This spacious and modern properties are set in 3 acres of land, and have every facility needed to make it an warm and enjoyable space for residents and staff alike.

We are looking to hear from candidates with:

*A solid background within Learning Difficulties
*An intricate understanding of the causes behind challenging behaviour, and expert knowledge on how to deal with it
*A drive to manage the delivery of world- class care
*An unflappable determination to place safeguarding of the residents at the forefront of your activities each day

This is a full time role, paying £26,000 per annum.

Please note, the client are currently only shortlisting candidates with Deputy Manager experience at this stage, and are not in a position to interview anybody looking to take the step up from Senior.

Candidates with a Health & Social Care NVQ Level 4 or 5 would be desirable, although candidates with NVQ Level 3 would be considered also.
