We are currently looking to recruit an experienced sales ledger clerk for a transport company in Crewe.

Working within a small friendly team the prime responsibilities includes ensuring each client’s invoicing requirements are met using a bespoke system, producing monthly statements and checking and amending prices to master rate tables.

The successful candidate will

  1. Have previous experience in a similar role (minimum of 2 years)

  2. Be proficient with IT packages, in particular Excel

  3. Have previous experience of credit control

  4. Have the ability to work under pressure

  5. Have previous experience working towards tight deadlines

  6. Experience of coping with high volumes of work

  7. Good organisational skills.

We are looking for an individual who is able to work on their own or as part of a team in what can be a pressurised role where attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

In return you will receive a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 dependant on experience, a company pension, free parking and after a qualifying period you will be entitled to participate in a staff bonus and health care scheme.
