This client is privately owned, a growing and well run business who values their employees and has a fairly flat management structure - the MD knows everyone and is very friendly and well mannered, as are the rest of the folks in the company.

Reporting into the Finance / Administration Manager, you will get exposure to lots of other areas and can learn more. They like people to stay long term, ideally you will have or be studying AAT.

A new opportunity has arisen to join their Finance Team as a Finance Assistant, this is a role with varied duties which will integrate you as a valued member of a small team.


A sound working knowledge of SAGE is a must due to the nature of the role.

Preferable AAT qualified, but not essential.

Job Description:

  • Process all invoices and manage debtors, ensuring adherence to system procedures
  • Assess and analyse gross profit on a weekly basis
  • Reporting into the Finance (Administration) Manager, your role will also lend support to ensure adherence to company requirements and work to tight deadlines and turnarounds to meet the business requirements
  • Manage Payroll and Self Employed Contractor Invoicing on a weekly basis, ensuring they adhere to system procedures, are correct and received in a timely manner

You will have proven experience in a similar role and be someone who excels in a team environment and has excellent computer literacy along with a 'can do' attitude, the role will bring out the best of your multitasking and communication skills; in return we offer an established team to support and lead you in your role.
