Permanent Contract: Term Time 38 weeks a year
Salary: £13,500-£15,500 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: From 08:30am - 16:30pm

Cambian Potterspury Lodge School is a specialist residential school for young people who have a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and other associated difficulties. We provide personal, social and vocational education; care and therapy to young people aged 8-18 with a programme of study with an emphasis on preparation for adulthood.

Brand new school opened in September 2015. Due to the development of a growing school, enthusiastic LSAs required to support young people with autism. We enable students to gain the necessary experience and acquire the skills for an active life that enables them to exercise choice whilst participating in their community.

We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our passionate, friendly and hardworking team. You will be directly involved in supporting the delivery of a wide range of accredited and non-accredited learning opportunities for our students.

As a Learning Support Assistant you will be responsible for supporting and on occasions delivering programmes of study to prepare students for the next stage of their lives.

We welcome applications from candidates who are passionate about working with young people with a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and other associated difficulties. Applicants will have a qualification GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent. Recent experience within the education sector is desirable. The ideal candidate for this position will bring a flexible, creative and ‘can do’ attitude to the role.

You will receive full induction training and you will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like our young people, you’ll be learning all the time through our ongoing mentoring and support.
