Job Title:Sales Office Coordinator

Location:              Bolton

Salary:                 £27,000 - £30,000pa depending on experience

Hours:                  Monday – Friday 08:30am – 5:30pm

Due to continuing success and growth our client has a superb opportunity for an experienced Sales Office Coordinator to join their rapidly developing organisation that provides a range of minerals, aggregates recycling, waste management and landfill services.  

The primary responsibility of the Sales Office Coordinator is to act as the primary interface between the internal operations of the business and its customers, providing customer service to the highest possible standards as well as representing the Company’s core values in all communications.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Respond professionally and courteously to all customer enquiries ensuring advice to customers about products or services that may best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, location, price and delivery.

  • Effective communication between the external sales team and the operations team to ensure full knowledge of product availability on each site.

  • Liaise with the operations team to react and respond quickly to production problems ensuring that customer orders are still met and delivered on schedule.

  • Conduct research on competitor activity and support the external sales team to develop and implement sales opportunity response plans.

  • Prepare quotations ensuring all information is uploaded onto our systems including regular cleansing of the system to allow identification of live and potential work streams.

  • Co-ordinate the sales diary schedules including work plans and delivery schedules.

  • Co-ordinate sales projects and campaigns with the external sales team.

  • Maximise all sales opportunities to new and existing customers, where possible generating new sales that will increase profits and contribute towards business growth.

  • Supporting Company marketing activities including follow up

  • Prepare regular reports of sales figures with analysis

  • Respond to customer queries/disputes.

    Other Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and developing new clients to expand our client base
  • Develop and maintain a good awareness of industry standards and guidelines and to keep up to date on Legislation and regulatory guidance
  • Develop personal knowledge of waste industry and relevant working areas
  • To maintain a sound knowledge of all key clients and materials within the business
  • Communicate sales data and competitor information to Sales Manager

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
