THE OPPORTUNITY

My client is seeking a Sales Ledger to join their team in Liverpool. They are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role and has proven transferable skills. Located in Liverpool and commuatable by public transport this is an excellent opportunity working for a an fun organisation that truly look after their staff.

DUTIES FOR SALES LEDGER CLERK

  • Sales ledger invoicing and reconciliation
  • Remittance advice
  • Payment allocations
  • Weekly and monthly debt collection reports from customers
  • Producing aged debtors and forecasting reports for management
  • Processing card payments and maintain card payment account
  • Updating and Issue statement of accounts/receipts
  • Processing scholarship student paperwork relating to finance
  • Handling hard-copies of official documents and ensure filed appropriately
  • Supporting admin team with finance related aspects of their roles
  • Building and maintain relationships with customers

SKILLS YOU WILL NEED FOR THE SALES LEDGER

  • Proven Finance/Sales ledger experience ideally least two years
  • Proven experience and ability to work with Microsoft office packages including outlook, word, excel and databases
  • Proven administrative experience of at least two years
  • Ability to multitask/work in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Excellent command of the English Language, both written and verbal
  • Strong people skills, both customer facing and pastoral
  • Ability to problem solve
