Business Development Manager (Microsoft)

Our client, a global IT sales company are looking a Senior Opportunity Manager to join their London team on a Permanent basis. You will support our client with their large customer (Microsoft), in identifying and developing sales pipeline.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a driven and growing company, offering a basic salary of up to £39,000 Per Annum and a OTE of £44,000 Per Annum. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop within the business.

The Senior Inside Opportunity Manager is responsible for identifying and developing a sales pipeline of customers through prospecting existing, established and target accounts as well as following up on pre-qualified sales opportunities by the team’s Sales Development Representative.

  • Build and nurture prospect relationships by starting communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Engage with customers as the central point of contact all the way to deal close.
  • Work with regional sales team and other colleagues to develop and grow the sales pipeline
  • Prepare and analyse sales pipeline and forecasting reports
  • Supporting to ensure the team meet both individual and team targets
  • Support the Team Manager in building, motivating and mentoring a high-functioning sales team.

Required experience and knowledge:

  • Educated to Degree level (essential)
  • Experience in the IT industry or a desire to learn IT products and services
  • You will have a proven background in exceeding sales targets and financials
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships.
  • Experience, background and confidence to initiate and drive business strategy discussions with C-level executives and business decision makers around industry drivers and workloads
  • Success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strategic sales leadership and strong cross business collaboration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
