Experienced Practice Accounts Assistant Semi Senior Job With Firm Of Accountants In Bournemouth

You will be working for a reputable firm of chartered accountants that provides a wide range of expert financial, tax and business advice to a diverse client base. Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant /Semi Senior you will be responsible for a broad range of clients, including sole traders and companies covering various activities, such as manufacturing, property development and consultancy services. The role is mainly office based, however flexibility is required to carry out work at client premises, if necessary.
You will also be providing the following services to clients: preparation of management and financial accounts; preparation of quarterly VAT returns, CT computations; maintenance of client accounting records

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a strong knowledge of management and financial accounting, and will hard working, show initiative and be self-motivated, with the ability to organise their own workload. You should also demonstrate the ability to cope with some repetitive tasks and will display a flexible, professional approach and have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with partners and clients.
You will also be a natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and an excellent eye for detail.
The ability to use Excel and Word is essential and knowledge of Sage line 50, Sage line 100 and/or Viztopia will be advantageous.
Current or previous experience of working in an accountancy practice firm is essential for this position.
