Our clients’ team in Hammersmith and Fulham is currently on the look-out for a Waking Night Worker with outstanding customer service skills.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with a social care/housing background and who is wishing to build on their knowledge/experience in relation to profession development.

You will be in charge of providing overnight waking cover to ensure a safe and secure environment for service users, who are resident in the cluster accommodations. Your role will be a split between housing management and night concierge type duties, control access to building, be the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning duties.

You will play a key part in helping shape the delivery of accommodation-based Mental Health Recovery Services in a way that is person-centred and you can expect excellent support from staff team and line manager. Person specification:

• Experience of working with people with complex mental health needs and dual diagnosis
• Good awareness of health and safety issues in accommodation-based services
• Ability to work creatively and proactively to form positive working relationships with people
• Knowledge of issues affecting those with mental health needs and the ability to deliver recovery-focussed support
• An understanding of person-centred support planning and key-working processes

Hours: 35 per week on average.
Working Pattern: 30hrs one week and 40hrs the other week from 22:00 - 08:00.
