At AQA we have a passion for inspiring lessons and great learning.

We are an independent education charity and the largest provider of academic qualifications taught in schools and colleges. We set and mark the papers for around half of all GCSEs and A-levels and nearly one and a half million students sit our exams every summer.

We employ over 1,000 people as well as the 28,500 associates (people who mark, moderate and work with us to deliver our qualifications) and have offices in Guildford, Manchester, Harrogate, London and Bath.

We’re seeking a customer-focused Administrator to work within our fast-paced Accounts Receivable team to assist with month end procedures, raising invoices, journal entries and handling supplier queries to achieve the departmental KPIs and service level agreements.

Ideally you will have experience of sales ledger systems, preferably Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.

To be considered for the role you will have:
• previous experience within a busy accounts receivable environment
• high level of accuracy and attention to detail across both manual and systems based work
• a natural ability to coordinate, prioritise and multitask with little supervision
• a customer focused approach, with the ability to handle customer queries by telephone and email
• a collaborative approach to work
• great communication skills
• be able to adapt to a highly changeable environment.

We're committed to all our people, and provide development opportunities to help them grow and make a real difference.

At AQA we recognise the contribution our employees make, and in return are proud to offer an extensive reward and benefit package. This includes:

• a competitive salary
• a standard 35-hour working week
• 25 days’ paid annual leave rising to 30 days, plus all Bank Holidays and additional Christmas leave
• a contributory pension scheme
• childcare voucher scheme
• an enhanced maternity/paternity and sick pay scheme.

To apply, please upload your CV and covering letter as one document via the AQA website.

Closing date for applications is 09:00 Wednesday 22 March 2017. Previous applicants need not reapply. Due to an overwhelming response to this advert, you will only be contacted if you have been successful in securing an interview.

AQA is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

NO AGENCIES PLEASE.
