Goodman Masson are proud to partner with a world class business who are running one of the most exciting projects in the Oil & Gas industry in recent years.

Based in Central London, this is a brand new role involved with driving excellence within the company as they go through their next stage of growth after some recent M&A activity.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, with regular interaction with the CFO, Treasury and Tax teams, the successful applicant will be tasked with providing monthly, interim and consolidated management reporting.

In addition, you will provide support and input to:
- Transition project as a result of a recent acquisition
- Management reporting initiatives and enhancement projects
- Continued quality assurance programs

Within the Transition project specifically you will assist is delivering optimum Finance Operating Model design and a management reporting system which reflects best practice, sustainability and expansion capabilities.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a practice background in audit. Oil and Gas experience (or other extractive industries) is essential and you must possess extensive experience of management reporting and modelling within these industries.

You will be highly analytical and an excellent management accountant with a proven track record. Experience of SunSystems is highly advantageous.

The day to day duties are not exhaustive as this role will involve lots of ad hoc project work but essentially you can expect to be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly consolidated management reporting pack; ensuring adherence to accounting policies, best practice and recommended industry accounting practice
- Ensuring continual improvement and enhancement of the monthly, quarterly, interim and annual consolidated management reporting pack
- Assisting in the development of the business intelligence reporting systems driving automation wherever possible
- Coordination of the annual budget and plan process with the business and functions
- Identifying operating model and process gaps and proposing apt solutions
