SAI Global, a global Risk Management Services provider, is recruiting for a Segment Marketing Manager to support our Risk Management software portfolio based in Milton Keynes. The successful Segment Marketing Manager, who will need to be experienced within Risk Management, Compliance, or Software B2B marketing, will have a track record in developing marketing strategy, identifying growth areas, and delivering successful marketing campaigns and lead generation promotions.

Due to the positioning of the role within SAI, the Segment Marketing Manager will need to be adept at working across multiple EMEA marketing campaigns, and will be required to form close working relationships with both Senior Managers and the EHS and GRC Sales Teams to drive forward growth in the designated segment. An overview of the main Segment Marketing Manager duties have been provided below:

Planning/Segments/Target Audience

  • Responsible for Segment/Market Insights analysis;

  • Oversee marketing strategy for segment;

  • Create and deliver customer life cycle programmes to ensure retention.

Content/Offerings

  • Create solutions/bundles to deliver to segment/Industry needs;

  • Create content from Product/Solution/Segment profiles to address marketing priorities;

  • Prioritise offerings/solutions for explicit focus within a campaign.

Routes to Market

  • Identify routes to market through partners and indirect channels;

  • Create co-marketing strategies with relevant partners to drive products and solutions;

  • Ensure that all routes to market are enabled on the campaign content, and route expectations to follow-up on leads generated.

Collaboration/Integration

  • Work directly with Sales Directors and communicate sales objectives to relevant marketing groups to ensure alignment;

  • Collaborate and link with marketing peers to ensure proper timing and alignment of all marketing efforts.

Lead Management

  • Manage lead management for marketing generated opportunities with sales.

Experience, Skillset, and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ B2B marketing experience within a services organisation;

  • Marketing experience within Risk Management, Compliance, or Software marketing experience is essential;

  • Portfolio/Go to market experience;

  • Strong sales and/or marketing lead management experience;

  • Agency management experience;

  • Degree level education in a marketing or relatable field is preferred;

  • Confident and effective communicator, both written and oral, and presenter;

  • Ability to quickly pick-up and manage multiple discrete project components;

  • Ability to work within virtual teams and be a strong marketing advocate;

  • Ability to deal with customers at senior management and board level;

  • Strong networking skills;

  • Self-motivation and drive coupled with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a broader team;

  • Attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Good IT literacy and skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
