Peterborough – Group Financial Controller – up to £65,000
18-month fixed term contract

The One Group are working with an innovative and fast paced division of FTSE business to recruit an interim group financial controller to cover a period of maternity leave. The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for leading a team which delivers high quality financial information for a high growth division of a large group.

The duties will include:
- Delivery of financial accounting of consolidated group results
- insightful reporting, planning and analysis of business’ short term results and longer term plans
- Maintenance of robust financial controls, minimising risk exposure
- Driving and developing a team to produce insightful analysis to enable value-added decision making
- Consolidation, review and timely delivery of quarterly forecasts and the budget process
- Acting as business partner to stakeholders across the business’ including key contacts within group finance function.

Applicants must stem from a chartered background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) ideally with strong technical accounting understanding developed within a large group structure. A technical grounding must be balanced against solid commercial acumen, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
