Company details:

101 Consultants Ltd. provide architectural consultancy to clients within the luxury retail and residential market. Most of our work involves corresponding with architects, interior designers, project managers and property departments within fashion/ retail brands. We’ll take a design concept and follow it through to a completed trading store.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for the retail market and luxury fashion. Our new team member should have a good knowledge of the industry, and experience of either working inside a store development department or a design agency / architects who work within this field. We will provide opportunities to travel to active sites and you’ll provide support to our senior project managers. Although the role will be more technically focused, extensive experience isn’t essential.

Duties will include:

  • Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Using 101’s drawing standards to develop construction packs for statutory approval and tendering purposes.
  • Initially assist with measured surveys and provide report on property conditions, later taking on this responsibility.
  • Liaises with all statutory authorities, including planning, BC, and Fire Departments.
  • Assist with designing furniture and installation guidelines.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Excellent AutoCAD skills. (essential)
  • Experience with design, proportions and presentation. We pride ourselves on the graphic presentation of our technical drawings.
  • Experience with Google Sketch-up to create rapid prototype models. (essential)
  • Have a solid understanding of architectural principals along with a working knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Be comfortable working at a fast pace and under pressure and will also have excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.
  • A minimum of 3 year's post qualification experience.
