Business Development Executives - Field Sales - £35000 Basic Salary with £45000 OTE (Uncapped Commission) plus Car Allowance

Our client is a highly renowned print and digital media advertising brand in the UK and due to their continued expansion, they are looking for Business Development Executives to join their successful sales team.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for attending client meetings to acquire new business, win back lapsed accounts, whilst also working to ensure current Key Accounts are optimised for results and spend.

Key Responsibilities for the successful Business Development Executives:

  • Attend client meetings to drive print and digital advertising revenues through a multi-media selling approach.

  • Ensure client campaigns are aligned to customer goals

  • Use market research information to identify new opportunities to increase spend and results.

  • Manage and process administration effectively, and within specified timescales.

  • Use the CRM to capture, plan and action sales strategy.

  • Provide a strategic insight into planned customer growth and forecasted revenue streams.

  • Achieve targets and development objectives as agreed with Line Manager.

  • Advise customers on campaign design and planning to achieve the highest standards

Skills required:

  • Must have Digital Online Media, Print Advertising, E-commerce or Publishing sales experience
  • Field sales experience
  • Have a background in a B2B sales environment, with a track-record of achieving targets.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal with clients at a senior level.
  • Professional well-spoken sales person (fluent in English).
  • Team player with strong consultative sales skills, who enjoys working collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced at building effective client relationships through positive communication.
  • Must be sales focused with the ability to self-manage and create an active pipeline.
  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and have a continuous stable work history.
  • Be computer literate with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
