Our client, a leading media publisher in Croydon, is looking for a Subscriptions Marketing Manager to manage the marketing for subscriptions in its portfolio within the commercial property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing annual and campaign marketing plans for subscriptions in co-ordination with the Head of Marketing

  • Executing marketing campaigns in order to achieve agreed targets

  • Managing budgets

  • Creating campaigns to attract and keep paying subscribers by analysing the subscriber renewal process and undertaking lapsed campaigns

  • Managing the magazine circulation audit process

  • Developing and maintaining contra deals with third parties

  • Updating web pages and ecommerce pages with promotional copy and developing strategies to improve conversion rates

  • Attending and providing support at events where appropriate. This may involve occasional overseas travel

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Marketing qualification desirable

  • Subscriptions experience is essential

  • Excellent copywriting skills

  • Experience of managing substantial budgets

  • B2B publishing experience essential

  • Strong influencing skills at all levels

  • Evidence of success in building and managing relationships with high level stakeholders
