Telesales Agent

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday

Salary: £18,000 plus commission - OTE £25,000 p.a.

My Client based in Horsham town centre are looking for candidates to join their expanding sales team. You will be given full sales and industry training with a clear and structured progression plan. If you are hardworking, money hungry and want the chance to join a rapidly growing successful company then this could be the role for you!

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prospect to potential and current clients of the business
  • Generate leads
  • Accurately and efficiently respond to client needs and requirements
  • Provide clients with an excellent customer service
  • Working to exceed targets on leads
  • Build within your team, strong client relationships
  • Provide data for quotes for products
  • Develop strong technical knowledge of a technical sale product
  • Looking for referral business from client base
  • Manage effective data on SalesForce platform
  • Building your professional and technical skills for promotion to management listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;

Key skills:

  • Ideally you would have previous experience in a customer facing or sales role and be used to a target driven environment.

  • Confidence, able to communicate with senior members of companies

  • Hard working, willing to work to get success quicker

  • Good communication skills over the phone

  • Be self-motivated
