My client a leader in their field are looking to recruit a highly organised and experienced project manager, working within the Learning and Innovation team to ensure the timely development of all learning solutions. This role also involves working closely with external associates and learning specialists to coordinate completion of deliverables on-time, within scope and within budget, as well as ensuring resource availability and allocation.

The purpose of the role is to support the Learning and Innovation Manager in developing high-quality, leading edge learning design, development, and innovation across all areas of the group. Also to project manage the timely development of a suite of inspiring learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.

• Develop project objectives, involving stakeholders and ensuring feasibility

• Project manage the creation and production of paper-based learning collateral and support materials including design, layout, editing, copy, and production.

• To project manage the creation and production of virtual, mobile, and E-learning programme collateral for use across multiple platforms.

• Manage and co-ordinate the specification, identification and stock management of all learning tangibles

• Prepare, revise, manage, and submit reports, budgets and other documentation

• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

• Use of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

• Perform risk management to minimize project risk.

Person Specification:

• Relevant proven experience and project management background, ideally in the L&D sector

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

• Project Management qualification preferred

• Ability to prioritise, influence, and negotiate

• Working to deadlines and dealing with pressure situations

• Conflict management and resolution

• Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders and corporate clients

• Ideally experience of the logistics sector, and relevant learning solutions

• Effective budget management
