    • Our client based in Central London is a unique organisation and an influential voice for the global capital market. It represents a broad range of capital market interests including global investment banks and smaller regional banks, as well as asset managers, exchanges, central banks, law firms and other professional advisers.

      Currently looking to recruit an Associate, Account Manager/Relationship Manager to be based within the company’s Corporate Communications Department and focusing on Executive Education.

      The Associate Account Manager/Relationship Manager will be responsible for assisting in cultivating the relationship with existing members as well as in increasing and expanding the membership base. The post holder will bring experience, expertise and new ideas to the post and provide all-round sales and research skills in support of the Director of Business Development. The post holder will work closely with the Business Development Director to increase the number of company members globally.


      • Research to identify potential members and classes of members in different regions and assist the Head of Business Development to achieve annual sales targets.
      • Cultivating the relationship with existing members as well as in increasing and expanding the membership base.
      • Making presentations to high level representatives of the international securities markets within potential member firms globally both over the phone and face to face meetings.
      • Organise meetings for Head of Business Development and/or Chief Executive.
      • Assist in developing with the company’s corporate communication and marketing strategy.

      • Attend conferences, exhibitions and events (both in UK but also in the EMEA zone).

      • Visiting members to make sure they get the best value for their membership and develop their loyalty to the association.

      • Present services (both membership and executive education) to potential members.

      • Writing, editing and publishing content on social media and industry media like Bloomberg

      • Organising meetings with top representatives of firms globally.

      • The Associate Account Manager may have to work outside office hours when necessary and, very occasionally, at weekends. The role may also include travel from time to time.


      • 2-3 years account management/sales experience, ideally in the capital markets or financial services markets.

      • Experience of researching and qualifying sales leads

      • Experience in face to face and/or telephone sales

      • Experience and good knowledge of the international debt capital markets

      • Fluency in at least one foreign language

      • Excellent computer skills and full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is essential.

      • Flexibility to work within a small busy team and maintain good working relationships

      • An outgoing and confident personality

      • Interest in the capital markets’ regulations and market practices

      • Good organisational capabilities and ability to multitask/jump from a task to the other and an eye for detail.

      • Excellent and confident communication skills, both verbal and written


      • Basic salary £40,000.
