My client a well established accountancy firm based in Lancaster are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven customer focused individual, to join a growing organisation. Your focus geographical are will be the North West with your base in the offices in Lancaster.

Responsibilities & Duties

Generate new business and hold sales meetings to bring on new clients
Offer advice on relevant benefits of outsourcing their accountancy functions
Achieve monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators.
Work closely with office and other areas of the business to ensure that all requirements of the relationships (both live and at prospect stage) are maintained and maximised, dealing with any issues that occur.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts being fully aware of other products and services

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Experience of regularly meeting and exceeding sales targets within the outsourced services market (ideally outsourced accountancy functions).
Experience of working on CRM systems.
Have strong communication skills and the ability at build good stakeholder relationships.
Ability to prioritise workload to ensure all tasks are carried out on a daily basis and all deadlines are met.
Excellent written and verbal communication
IT Skills with competent use of word and excel.
To be able to work to individual and team targets.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of the market and competitors.
Connections within accountancy services industry, either current or previous.

Salary £20 - £30k depending on experience
Plus £10k - £15K performance related pay
Monday to Friday role office hours
