Insurance Account Administrator
Following continued success and growth within this commercial insurance brokerage they now seek an additional account handler to join their team. You will form part of a team of 6 and support the Account Executives with all renewal business from a premium level from £200 up to £50k. The trades are varying across all sectors but also they focus on particular scheme.
Main purpose of the job
Day to day handling of client needs.
To ensure all clients renew, dealing with any amendments or changes as and when required and generally helping and advising them with any problems they encounter.
Work as part of a team helping other team members where necessary.
Doing whatever is required for the good of the team even if it is not part of your current job role.
Key responsibilities and Key Activities
Chase insurers for renewal terms and re-broke where necessary.
Complete client reports and send to clients a minimum of 2 weeks before the renewal date.
Chase clients 2 days after sending reports to ensure they have received it and that the client is not putting us under attack.
Keep account executives informed of any developments on renewals.
Call clients prior to renewal and confirm renewal instructions.
Diary for money and advise accounts.
Deal with all post applicable to your section of clients.
Complete the renewal / mid term checklists for every client confirming that all procedures are complied with.
Ideal - 2 - 3 yrs experience in general commercial insurance
