Front of House manager, independent business near Chippenham.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Daily management of running a busy cafe / restaurant including leading and motivating a small team, organising the rota, training staff, employing staff, ordering stock, managing and updating the social media sites, general admin including answering email enquiries, organising meetings/events and updating the weekly menus.

- The role will also involve all aspects of serving customers including food service (a mix of counter and table service depending on the shift), and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.

- The events manager side of the role involves meetings with potential clients to discuss party and catering options, liaising with these customers via telephone and email to ensure all of their individual needs are met, coordinating a schedule for the evening , ensuring that payments for bookings are made in time and communicating all information to the kitchen and staff so that everything runs smoothly on the day/night.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, organisation and multi-tasking skills. Experience in the service industry is required. The role will suit an experienced FOH manager, or somebody who has been working as an assistant manager for at least one year. Experience working within independent companies is desirable. The candidate must be fluent in English.

Good kitchen skills are desirable.
