Ecorys UK has a unique opportunity available for a Senior Communications Consultant to join the team based in Birmingham or London. The role is a full time, fixed-term contract of up to twelve months (maternity cover) offering a basic salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum plus benefits.

What are the responsibilities of the Senior Communications Consultant?

Working as part of an international team and managing a wide range of communications assignments around the world, the Senior Communications Consultant will:

- Successfully manage and deliver projects and assignments, particularly in the area of communications;

- Draft and present proposals and concept notes for awareness raising campaigns, high-profile events and PR activities, print and electronic publications, visibility materials, web and social media with innovative Ideas

- Develop communication/dissemination strategies and action plans;

- Write and present proposals for awareness raising campaigns, high-profile events and PR activities, publications, visibility materials, web and social media in tight timeframes;

- Lead on tender preparation and winning new work.

What skills do I need to have to become a Senior Communications Consultant?

- University degree in a relevant field i.e. media, communications, marketing, journalism, political science, sociology, psychology, languages, etc.;

- Experience in developing and delivering communications services such as campaigns, events, web and social media activities, and publications;

- Demonstrable experience of lead authorship in writing successful proposals, detailed concept notes, information and communication materials, activity reports;

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under time pressure;

- Innovative, problem-solver and strong team player.

- A basic salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience. There is an additional London weighting if based in London.
