We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join a leading packaging company based in Birmingham. Working within this established, global organisation, you will be functioning in a world class environment where Quality is of upmost importance. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager you will play an integral role in supporting the Quality department. With a long established global presence this is an ideal opportunity for a strong Quality Engineer looking for their next challenging position with the backing of a stable and secure business.

Role Description
*Day to day management of quality issues
*Liaise with customer and the design team to assure customer defined quality assurance
*Liaise with suppliers to assure high standards are kept
*Driving through of problem resolution techniques
*Hands on involvement in identifying root cause issues at manufacturing level
*Work to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
*Understanding of HACCP, Environmental and H&S standards
*Support the production department in all issues

Skills and Qualifications
*Quality Engineering background
*Experience of quality engineering within a Manufacturing Environment
*Automotive experience desirable
*Working knowledge of ISO 9001, QS 9000
*Willingness to learn new techniques and train others.
*Ability to communicate at all levels
*HNC/HND desirable
