Are you currently an accomplished Senior Technical Co-Ordinator who is looking to take the next step up in to a Technical Managers position or maybe you’re already an experienced Technical Manager who is feeling undervalued and wants a change of scenery!

I’m working with one of the market leading house builders in Kent right now who have a number of multimillion projects underway with an amazing pipeline of future, challenging projects coming through. You will be involved in a wide variety of residential and mixed use projects in the Kent and Sussex regions which will include low rise traditional housing as well as some RC frame projects.

As Technical Manager you will be office based but will have to make site visits 2/3 days a week and will be provided with a laptop and company mobile to do this. You will be responsible for overseeing 2 or 3 projects at any one time and you will have support from colleagues and management above for you to be able to do this. For this position you MUST have at least 5 years’ experience of managing residential and overseeing more junior members of staff is also a bonus.

The projects you will be involved in are all very different from the last and are in popular parts of the South East where people want to live so a lot of the time the properties are sold off plan due to the popularity of the products they produce. You will be degree qualified and may come from an architectural/civils or project management background however other relevant backgrounds will also be considered.

You will be paid a competitive salary, offered a good package including healthcare as well as a car allowance and discretionary bonus.

Key Requirements:

·At least 5 years’ experience working for either an architectural practice or house builder.

·You MUST have experience of working on medium to large new build residential projects.

·Experienced in low rise traditional housing (RC Frame knowledge is a bonus but NOT essential).

·Ideally have worked for companies like Barratt Homes, Bellway Homes or Taylor Wimpey in the past.

·Able to work alone, keep calm under pressure and confident in reporting updates to the Director of the business as and when required.

·You may be a Senior Co-Ordinator looking for a step up or already an experienced Technical Manager who is looking for a change of scenery and wants to work for a ‘family feel’ team.
