Nursery Practitioner level 3
Main responsibilities are ensuring a high standard or care, covering all areas of the EYFS, implementing the daily routine and covering all areas of the key person responsibilities. The candidate will need to have excellent knowledge and understanding EYFS to enable them to follow nursery policies and produce children's observations, complete trackers, learning journals and prepare appropriate planning to suit individual children's needs. They will need to ensure a high quality of care and education for the under-fives with a stimulating and varied program which suits all the children. They will need to listen to, encourage, enable and ensure the safe keeping of the children. Actively encourage and participate in parent involvement and comply with the partnership with parent's policies of the nursery by liaising with parents, nursery team and outside agencies. They will need to ensure a safe environment for the children and adults with regards to good hygiene, safe and clean equipment which conform to health and safety procedures. Prepare and fully set out the nursery room before the children's arrival, keep it clean and tidy during the daily session and tidy up at the end of they day, also take part in all nursery activities. The candidate will be expected to attend training courses, staff meetings and other events which will support the nursery either during the day, evening or sometimes at weekends. They would be expected to have good knowledge and understanding of all nursery policies and procedures and be able to put them into practice especially safeguarding, equal opportunities, prevent duty, health and safety, British values, etc. Any any other duties that may be required of you.
