A great opening has arisen for a MI Developer/Analyst to work within the Leeds HQ. The MI Developer/Analyst will support the MI and Reporting team in the production and development of new management reports and analysis of business performance & trends. You will interpret the data and provide analytical insight to Executive and operational management teams. This role would suit someone who has a passion to succeed in a fast paced and highly innovative environment.

Main Duties

- Development of new management information across all business functions
- - Requirements gathering
- - Design and build
- - Testing and release
- - Producing interactive dashboards through Qlikview
- Present technical MI to non-technical business stakeholders
- Work closely with business stakeholders in delivering business reporting requirements
- Ad-hoc analysis as required by Directors and Business functions
- Ability to adapt & change reporting requirements to suit business needs
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage / prioritise workload

Essential Skills

- Experience of producing reporting and MI through Qlikview or similar reporting suites
- Ability to interpret data to provide insight and direction based on findings
- Experience of designing data structures (relational / star schemas) and optimising performance
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks and work under pressure for senior business people
- Experience working with complex data structures
- Effective communicator with good organisational skills
- Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Access, etc.)
- Designing database structures including relational and star schemas
- Experience of presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Skills

- Experience of writing SQL
- Experience of SQL Management Studio
- Experience of data gathering and structure
- Experience of using Qlikview
