Responsibilities of the Apprentice - In this role, you will:

Provide exceptional support while demonstrating your problem-solving skills and excellent customer service

Become the face of our company to many of our clients, and you will have a noticeable impact on our day-to-day operations

Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Developers, Implementation Specialists, Account Managers, etc.) to enhance our product and services

Influence the growth of our product using feedback from clients and solutions you have implemented while working on client environments

Provide technical expertise during the deployment and upgrade of our software

Provide post go-live configuration work and development to enhance customer environments

Propose departmental initiatives to help improve our process and team goals

Requirements of the Apprentice

You will ideally have:

A well-rounded personality

Excellent problem-solving abilities

The ability to thrive in a team environment

The ability to manage competing priorities

Enthusiasm for technology and finance

Advanced SQL Server T-SQL skills and database administration experience, including in depth understanding of Join types, Sub Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures, Optimization, and other advanced SQL concepts

Completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or a matching qualification with another training provider

Training available for the Apprentice

Level 4

New skills including:

Networking Principles

Network Systems and Architecture

Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012

Technical Security Fundamentals

Threats and Vulnerabilities

Apprenticeships and Vendor qualifications L4

Higher Apprenticeships Network Engineer Level 4 (equivalent to first year of degree study), Microsoft Certified Professional - Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 R2, One Microsoft MOC on demanded course

Programme duration

24 - 28 month Higher IT apprenticeship (with opportunity to step off after 12-15 months if you find that the training/role isn't for you)
