This creator of smart marketing technology products is at the top of their game, helping over 500 brands optimise conversions online through effective marketing campaigns and deliver excellent digital experiences. They work across an array of sectors and boast an impressive roster of clients including Marks & Spencer's, Virgin Trains and Dominos. They are a young and successful technology start up team of 90 operating from a creative co-working space in central London with no intention of slowing down.

They are now on the lookout for a sales-savvy Account Manager to join their team.

The Role:

In this Account Manager job, your communication skills are paramount. You will be responsible for managing multiple prospects and identify a pipeline of relevant accounts for the company. The company are working with a huge portfolio of exciting clients across an array of sectors and have a huge amount of interest coming into their inbox - you will be converting those warm leads into long term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

In this Account Manager job, your tasks will include:

  • Working through a clearly defined business development process managing multiple accounts
  • Managing the cycle from start to finish: identifying key accounts, prospecting and qualifying the leads, carrying out demos, negotiating and closing the deal
  • Taking on occasional outbound prospecting to increase revenue prospects - they have a huge flow of inbound leads through to marketing campaigns, but every little helps!
  • Understanding the needs of prospective customers
  • Continuing to build up a pipeline of relevant and exciting accounts to ensure a steady stream of revenue

What we're looking for?

  • Experience hitting and exceeding goals in a target driven environment (can be within any industry)
  • Previous success in a high-volume sales environment would be a plus!
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivation in abundance with an eagerness to smash personal and team targets
  • A confident and consultative telephone manner
  • An enthusiasm to work in a start-up environment and a passion for the digital industry
  • A curiosity to learn about the challenges other companies have and how this product can solve those issues
