Your new company is a service sector business based in Chesterfield. Your role will be an interim 12 month assignment to support the Procurement team as Procurement Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance & Procurement, you will be managing your own team of Procurement Officers and Procurement Assistants. You will be working as a team to provide continuous business improvement. The role will require you to maintain and develop commercial and procurement strategies whilst producing reports based upon performance indicators. You will provide contract management support for tenders and be familiar with the process.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be CIPS qualified and experienced in contract management and tender processes. You will have experience with report writing and will be able to present these findings to your line manager.
