KNOTTINGLEY/PONTEFRACT

£25,000 - £35,000 + Benefits + Holidays

Our client, a market leading manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Design Engineer. Working within this well-established company you will be involved in the full design process of all highly automated production based machinery. Working on a variety of exciting new design assignments this role offers an unrivalled chance for someone to play a pivotal role within a well established friendly design team.

Role & Responsibilities
*Machinery design utilising Inventor CAD Package
*Providing design input to all aspects of the process from conception through to manufacture
*Structural design and draughting activities
*Visiting exhibitions to gain knowledge on technical products
*Reporting directly to the Design Manager within this close knit team

Required Skills & Experience
*Degree in CAD or Mechanical Engineering
*CAD experience
*Ability to work effectively within a team environment
*Motivated to learn new products and progress technically
